Official documentation

Tip: To access documentation for a specific firmware version, change /latest/ in the URL to the version number, e.g. /3.8.0/. The oldest version available online is 3.6.6.

SDKs and development tools

  • Alternative SDK download: frtech.fr/DOWNLOAD2
  • Python SDK: Requires Python 3.12.0 specifically — higher versions may not be compatible. The SDK ships as compiled .pyd files (Windows DLLs).
  • SDK version must match firmware version — mismatched versions cause hard-to-debug issues

3D models

  • STEP files (all models): Downloads — 3D Models
  • Available for FR3, FR5, FR10, FR16, FR20
  • Can be converted to STL, DAE, OBJ using FreeCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.
